Terms of Service
A New Page — an at-home structured-literacy reading program.
Effective June 13, 2026.
Welcome to A New Page. These terms are the agreement between you (a parent or guardian) and A New Page. By creating an account or using the program, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable.
1. Who can use A New Page
A New Page is for parents and guardians to use with their children. You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. You're responsible for your account and for supervising your child's use.
2. Your subscription & billing
- A New Page is a monthly subscription. The current price is shown at checkout. One subscription covers the children in your household.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime, and you'll keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. We don't lock you in.
- If a payment fails, we may pause access until it's resolved.
3. What we provide
We provide a structured-literacy reading program built on established, evidence-based methods (explicit, systematic phonics and related practices). We work hard to help your child grow as a reader. However, every child is different, and we cannot guarantee a specific result, score, or timeline. A New Page is an educational tool and is not a medical or clinical diagnosis or treatment for dyslexia or any condition.
4. Acceptable use
Please use A New Page for your own family's learning. Don't copy, resell, or redistribute the lessons, stories, or content; don't try to break, scrape, or misuse the service; and don't use it to harm anyone.
5. Your content
Stories your child creates in the program belong to your family. You're responsible for what you create. We may use anonymous, aggregated information about how the program is used to improve it (never your child's personal information or anything that identifies your family).
6. Our content
The lessons, stories, characters, artwork, audio, and software are owned by A New Page and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your family while your subscription is active.
7. Privacy
Your family's privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy, which explains the limited information we collect and how we protect it — including our children's-privacy (COPPA) commitments.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
A New Page is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the most recent 12 months. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
9. Changes
We may update these terms or the program. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continued use means you accept the changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
