The Adventure Maker
We build Episode 1 of a serialized adventure starring your child. You read the story — your child reads the hero's lines. And every single word on your child's side of the page is matched to the exact phonics they know right now. It ends on a cliffhanger. That part is on purpose.
Here's what we know from running this every day: a struggling reader doesn't need easier books — they need text built from exactly the code they've been taught, inside a story good enough to fight for. So we write the episode in two voices: your voice carries the world, your child's reading carries the plot. The hero's lines are the decisive ones. When your child reads them, the story moves — and they feel it.
Make Episode 1
Three taps: where your child is in phonics, which world they'd love, and their name. Not sure about the level? Pick lower — early wins are fuel, frustration isn't. (Our free 10-minute reading check can pin it down.)
1 · Your child reads…
2 · Their world
3 · The hero's name
Episode 2 is already written.
This is how our full reading program works, every single day: a 15-minute structured-literacy session — review, sound work, new teaching, word work — and the day's reading IS the next episode. The cliffhanger your child just hit? Tomorrow's session opens by resolving it. We remember every word they miss and fold it back in. We move them forward on mastery, not on a calendar. The reward for reading is more story.
The program is open to families now — and your first week is free.
7 nights free, then $39/month for the whole family. Cancel during the trial and you're never charged.
What this is: a real sample of our two-voice episode engine — every word on your child's side is built only from the phonics level you picked, the way all our stories are built. What it isn't: a reading assessment or a diagnosis. If reading is a struggle at home, start with the free reading check.
