Made for Australian families: Australian spelling, and a British-English voice on the sounds, far closer to your child’s ear than an American one. Not an American app with the prices changed.
A New Page is an at-home structured-literacy reading program for struggling and dyslexic readers, ages 3 to 18. A free five-minute check places your child at their real reading level, and then they read their way through an adventure story that only moves forward when they actually read the words. About fifteen minutes a night, you in the chair beside them.
Reviewed by a reading specialist with 41 years of experience teaching children to read. Every lesson is explicit structured literacy a child can do nightly, with placement and a weekly progress report you can share with your child's teacher.
Australian states have moved decisively toward systematic synthetic phonics, and a Year 1 phonics check is now standard in several of them. That is the right science, and A New Page is built on the same explicit, systematic phonics, with mastery checks and spaced review, so home matches school.
The school day ends and the struggle does not. The question parents carry home is the one we built this to answer: what do we do at home tonight?
One price for the whole family. Prices show in Australian dollars at checkout when you are in Australia.
The NDIS generally does not fund support for dyslexia on its own, so most families pay out of pocket. We keep that fair: a free week first, A$55 a month for the whole family, and free access for any family where cost is the wall. Just ask.
Your child's data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync.
A short overview, two minutes.
