Most book lists are sorted by grade or a vague "reading level." This one is different: every book below is matched to a phonics stage, so your child never opens a book full of patterns nobody has taught them yet.
How we picked these. A New Page teaches reading in ten levels, from first sounds to word roots. For each level we chose books whose words are built, as much as possible, from the letter patterns taught by that point, across different genres and styles, so your child can pick by taste instead of settling. Two honest notes: at Levels 1 to 3, very few truly decodable books exist per genre, so choices there are narrower, that is the nature of the code, not a gap in the list. And every list has separate picks for readers ten and up, real chapter formats and teen covers, because an older reader who is still building the code deserves books that respect their age.
