British families: A New Page is built for you too.

£29 a month · never more than our American families pay

Made for families in the UK: UK spelling, and a British voice on the sounds, so the words look and sound the way your child is learning them at school. Not an American app with the prices changed.

A New Page is an at-home structured-literacy reading programme for struggling and dyslexic readers, ages 3 to 18. A free five-minute check places your child at their real reading level, and then they read their way through an adventure story that only moves forward when they actually read the words. About fifteen minutes a night, you in the chair beside them.

Method
Explicit, systematic phonics with mastery checks and spaced review

Reviewed by a reading specialist with 41 years of experience teaching children to read. Every lesson is explicit structured literacy a child can do nightly, with placement and a weekly progress report you can share with your child's teacher.

Why now, in the UK

In England every child sits the phonics screening check at the end of Year 1, and schools teach systematic synthetic phonics from a validated programme. That is the right science, and A New Page is built on the same explicit, systematic phonics, with mastery checks and spaced review, so what happens at home matches what happens in the classroom.

Where support thins out is the evenings, especially while a family waits on a SEND assessment. The question parents carry home is the one we built this to answer: what do we do at home tonight?

What it costs in the UK

One price for the whole family. Prices show in pounds sterling at checkout when you are in the UK.

£29 a month · or £299 a year We priced it a little under what our American families pay, on purpose. Cost should never be the reason a child goes without.

Funding, honestly

There is no parent-directed public funding in the UK for a home reading programme. If your child has an EHCP with a personal budget, it is worth asking your local authority whether a reading resource can be covered, but do not count on it. So we keep it simple: a free week first, £29 a month for the whole family, and free access for any family where cost is the wall. Just ask.

Your child's data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync.

  1. Take the free five-minute reading check. It places your child at their exact starting step, not their grade.
  2. Read fifteen minutes a night, you beside them. The story only moves when they read the words.
  3. Watch the weekly report. Real progress, in plain language, that you can hand to a teacher.
