Cancel or pause your plan
It should be as easy to leave as it was to start. Everything here is self-serve and takes about a minute. Whatever you choose, every reader's level, progress, badges, and stories stay saved.
Cancel your subscription
Opens Stripe's secure billing page. It sends a one-time code to the email you pay with, then you can cancel, update your card, or download invoices. Cancelling stops all future charges; you keep access through the end of the month you already paid for. A reading year is one payment with no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel: it simply ends on its date.

Pause, resume, or cancel with an email link
Enter the email you pay with and pick what you want. We send a confirmation link to that inbox; opening it is what makes the change. That is how we know it is really you, and nothing changes until you open it. It works once, for about an hour.
- Pause stops billing right away. The program pauses too, within a week, and everything is held exactly where it is.
- Resume sends you a confirmation link; open it within about an hour and billing resumes on your next cycle and the program opens back up.
- Cancel stops future charges. You keep access through the period you already paid for.
Bought a one-student license with state funds?
There’s nothing to cancel. It’s a single payment that ends 12 months after purchase and never renews.
